New LED signs improve safety at Bromley Car Park in Kent

NCS Technology and Earlsmann – a successful partnership

Earlsmann has recently worked with Kent-based installer NCS Technology to upgrade and replace fluorescent lighting at three multi-storey car parks in the borough of Bromley. Following the success of these projects, NCS approached Earlsmann for assistance with replacing old and failing signage at the Civic Centre car park.

LumaPex custom-made LED panels create clear signage

Earlsmann used its LumaPex edge-lit LED panels to design complete new illuminated signs. LumaPex provides reliable, bright and even illumination with excellent uniformity and clarity, making the signs easy to read and improving car park safety. With no conventional lamps to replace, maintenance costs are greatly reduced.

The signs were fabricated to a standard size, making installation simple and cost-effective. Some of the signs required emergency functionality, and Earlsmann included the emergency packs in the panel design.
